Looking for things to do in Cairns? The Cairns Show is an annual event that provides a tonne of fun and entertainment for the whole family.

A long standing tradition of Cairns, the Cairns Show is a great opportunity to check out the local businesses of Cairns, showcasing over 400 industries products and services. It’s also a good opportunity to have some old fashioned fun.

On top of the vast array of rides for all ages, show bags and the delicious show food, there are a number of events and shows on to keep you entertained. Some of these things to do include the Lumberjack Show, Chainsaw racing, Baby Calf Petting, Log Rolling, Animal Parades, Dog Shows… the list is endless.If you’re after the thrills and spills of a faster lifestyle, be sure to check out Team Isuzu D-Max. See some of Australia’s best stunt car drivers push their automobiles to the limit, with ramp jumps, nose to nose driving and reverse flicks.

Plenty of entertainment for the whole family

The Cairns Show over all is a great spectacle and certainly warrants a tick on your things to do in Cairns checklist. Located in Parramatta Park, West of Cairns, the show opens this Wednesday through to Friday, 9am to 9pm. Tickets can be purchased at the gates. I highly recommend you take cash, as the queues are much smaller when you are not paying with a card. Trust me, you will thank me when you get there.

Family Passes for 2 Adults and 2 Children are only $45, with each additional child (5yrs – under 14yrs) $8.

Also available are: Single Adult tickets $20, Single Child Tickets $10 and Single Concession Tickets $15.

Children under 5 years are Free
